Description

Ember Toys is proud to announce the launch of their new Die-cast Action Figure series, "BLAZE"! The commemorative first release in this lineup is none other than "BLAZE Mazinkaiser (Original Version)"!

The "Original Version" of Mazinkaiser first debuted in the classic robot-themed home console game. Inheriting the powerful, bold, and rugged mechanical design of the Mazinger Z series, it has remained a legendary mecha etched into the hearts of fans for decades.

The "BLAZE Mazinkaiser (Original Version)" achieves two groundbreaking motorized gimmicks—the first of their kind for any Mazinkaiser action figure: Rotating Forearms and a Light-up Chest LED Screen!

For the motorized rotation, the Ember Toys development team successfully integrated miniature motors into both forearms. By bringing the Kaiser Pilder (which features a built-in magnet) close to the forearm, a magnetic switch is triggered, initiating the rotation to realistically recreate the "Turbo Smasher Punch" finishing move! Since the battery boxes (requiring 3 LR41 button cells per arm) are housed internally, you can detach the forearms and use the included effect parts and stands to display dynamic "Turbo Smasher Punch" scenes without the clutter of external wiring.

The "Fire Blaster" light-up gimmick is equally breathtaking. The movable chest armor can be swapped for a specialized version featuring a built-in LED screen. Powered by a battery box hidden within the Kaiser Scrander (requiring 3 LR44 button cells), the heat sinks and the "Z" emblem illuminate brilliantly.

Furthermore, using the Kaiser Pilder’s magnetic control activates the "Fire Blaster" mode: the central emblem cycles through the characters "Z," "魔" (Demon), and "神" (God) while the heat sinks pulse with light, vividly depicting the entire process from Photon Power charging to final discharge.

In terms of aesthetics, the figure was sculpted by renowned Japanese artist Alan Moriguchi (森口あらん), who has worked on numerous iconic robot models. Based on original drafts and in-game visuals, the design has been reimagined through a modern lens with a focus on sleek, aerodynamic lines. The result is a silhouette that retains a simplicity while exuding the explosive power of a Super Robot. The sharp, meticulously detailed head sculpt captures Mazinkaiser’s unique blend of mechanical precision and emperor ferocity. The massive back wings feature a seamless, split-free design. With its exaggerated proportions and dramatic curves, it exudes a unique and commanding presence.

Standing at a head height of approximately 10.2", the figure reaches a towering 15-16" once the Scrander is equipped.

Built on a proprietary internal structure developed by Ember Toys, the figure boasts 65 points of articulation. The outer armor of the thighs and shins utilizes single-mold die-cast parts, while the internal frame combines die-cast and POM materials to ensure rock-solid stability and superior durability, allowing for effortless execution of bold battle poses.

A wealth of accessories are included, such as dual Shoulder Slicers. When paired with the included effect parts, you can perfectly capture the dramatic moment they are drawn from the shoulder armor.

The Gigant Missile can be displayed on its own with dedicated stands or attached to the abdomen to capture the moment of launch.

Additionally, the Kaiser Scrander can be detached from the main body and paired with effect parts to replicate the "Jet Boomerang" attack.

Finally, the dedicated display base not only supports mid-air poses but also features a rotating turntable, allowing you to find the perfect display angle even in limited spaces.

Preorder FAQ

Will I be charged immediately?

All preorders are charged at the time of payment.

What is an Early Bird Preorder?

Tokullectibles sometimes offers discounted rates for the first few orders of a new release. The price typically includes shipping as well. Once they are sold, these are no longer available.

What is a Tentative Preorder?

Some (typically very hot) items are subject to allocation. This means, though we request a certain amount, we're not always guaranteed to get as many as requested (or any at all). These items are listed as Tentative Preorders.

As more of our requested quantities become confirmed, we will reach out and notify those affected. If we are unable to secure enough to cover some or all orders, we will also reach out. Full refunds will be issued for any preorders unable to be fulfilled.

NOTE: Tentative Preorders should not be considered confirmed preorders unless we contact you to state as much.

If I pay a deposit, how much will I owe?

Deposit preorders will owe the balance of the Full Payment preorder price at the time of the order (as prices can fluctuate, often increasing) as well as the cost of shipping. You will receive an invoice for the balance due once the items arrive and are ready to be shipped to you.

When does my item release?

When ordering, please note the release month listed on the page. For Premium Bandai items, the exact date of release is usually revealed at the beginning of that month.

We regularly add release dates to our Release Calendar

When will Tokullectibles ship my preorder?

Tokullectibles typically receives items approximately 7-10 days after they release in Japan. As most toku items release on a Saturday, that usually means they will ship to you by the following Thursday or Friday. Please keep in mind that customs and holidays can delay these timelines. Please keep an eye on the Facebook page for updates.

How long to I have to pay the balance of my preorder?

Once you receive an invoice for the balance, Tokullectibles allows for 2 weeks without communication before the item is forfeit. If you need additional time to pay, please reach out as soon as possible.

What if my address changes?

If your address changes before your preorder ships, please send us a message so that it can be updated and noted. Updating your address on the balance invoice sent will NOT result in the shipping address being changed for the original order.

Can I cancel my preorder?

Tokullectibles orders inventory based on customer demand, and for low-volume items, directly in response to it. Therefore, preorders are generally non-refundable, though some allowances can be made.

Please note that cancellations can lead to current and future preorders being declined at our discretion. Please be aware that for special order items like clothes and many Premium Bandai items, cancellation is not possible. Abandoned preorders forfeit their deposit.

Non-refundable preorders returned to sender are not eligible for refund and may be assessed additional shipping fees.

ALL refunds are subject to an 8% processing fee.

Will I receive campaign bonuses?

Very often purchase campaigns apply to in-store purchases and are not always honored on wholesale purchases. That said, if Tokullectibles receives free campaign bonus items with any item, they will be provided to customers on a first-come, first-served basis free of charge.

There may also be instances where items are available to purchase with the campaign item guaranteed. These may be at higher prices due to needing to be purchased at retail.

What is the difference between USA and Japanese releases? The American releases of products are typically exactly the same but tend to be priced lower. What's best for you can vary on your personal tastes.

Some pros include:

  • Lower pricing
  • English instructions (for some, not all releases)

Some cons include:

  • Later release date
  • Potentially different packaging (for the box collectors)
  • Opened/modified packaging (the shipping box is sometimes opened to include translated instructions. Stickers with domestic support and care instructions can be added to packaging)
